3M™ 4929 VHB™ Tape is a 25 mil double-sided acrylic foam tape with a general-purpose acrylic adhesive on both faces and a clear polyester liner. The black foam core bonds permanently to metals, glass, composites, and many plastics — eliminating the need for drilling, welding, or liquid adhesives.
This tape is well suited for panel attachment, nameplate bonding, trim fastening, and structural assembly in automotive, electronics, signage, and general manufacturing environments. Its resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV exposure makes it appropriate for both interior and exterior installations.
